Through this color series, I found a little peace of mind, setting mood and tone and watching an image unfold. I started exploring the combination of colors while appreciating not only their relationship to each other, but also how they change and shape one another with each stroke of the brush or palate knife. How these in-eloquently placed blobs move and intertwine to form shapes and feeling, breathing life into the canvas. These paintings are mixed media using predominantly acrylic and water color.
